The results are available within a maximum of 24 hours from the moment the document is uploaded. During certain periods, especially during the winter/summer exam sessions, the duration may be extended by up to 100 hours. This is an estimated delivery time, which, in some exceptional cases, may be exceeded (therefore, verification within 24 hours should be considered an intention of sistemantiplagiat.ro, but not an obligation to provide the service within 24 hours).

In the free version, the time may substantially exceed the limits mentioned above.

The system will inform the user about the total number of tokens required to verify a document during the document submission process. When the document text is uploaded, the system calculates the number of characters and the number of tokens needed.

To verify a document in the system, you must purchase the number of tokens corresponding to the document’s size. One token allows a user to verify a document of up to 18,000 characters. For each additional 18,000 characters, the user must purchase an additional token.

Before starting the analysis of a document, the user may select additional services, Priority Check, RefBooks Check, Legislative Database Check, Paraphrasing (SmartMarks), Translation Similarity Check, and AI Content Check.

Important! The system counts all characters present in the document’s code when calculating characters. This includes not only letters, numbers, punctuation marks, and spaces (as counted by word processors such as MS Word), but also paragraph breaks, which are largely ignored by standard word processor statistics.

The individual account (where payment is made through tokens) is not registered to a database and documents that are verified with this type of account are not added to any database. Access to documents uploaded from an individual account is NOT allowed to a third party.

Only documents verified through subscriber accounts can be added to the client's database. The database is created by each client individually, and the process is not automatic, requiring that documents be manually selected to be added to the database.

The Sistemantiplagiat.ro service for individual users allows checking the originality of a document that does not exceed 1,500,000 characters, and payment is made for every 18,000 characters of the checked document. One token allows checking 18,000 characters and costs 11 RON for payment by card 2.50 Euro or 2.80 USD via PayPal. Six additional Services are also available: Priority Check (Cost: 30% of the number of tokens required to check the document), Checking with RefBooks (Cost: 50% of the number of tokens required to check the document), Checking with the Legislative Database (Cost: 50% of the number of tokens required to check the document), Paraphrasing (SmartMarks) (Cost: 50% of the number of tokens required to check the document), Checking similarities in translation and Checking AI content (Cost: 50% of the number of tokens required to check the document).

To ensure the proper functioning of the system, please use one of the following browsers: Chrome 29.0, Firefox 28.0, Safari 9.0, Opera 17.0, Edge (or newer versions) with a functional cookies mechanism, a functional JavaScript execution mechanism, as well as a built-in CSS rendering mechanism.

You can log in to the system only after entering the correct username and password. By using the copy/paste option, you can ensure that the data is entered correctly.

The password is sent automatically to the email address used during registration and may end up in the SPAM folder. It is also possible that the information entered contains an error, in which case we kindly ask you to try creating a new account and make sure the email address is correct.

Use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page. Enter the email address used as your username on Sistemantiplagiat.ro and click the “Reset Password” button. The system will automatically send you an email with a link that must be used to set a new password.

The Sistemantiplagiat.ro system operates under the ASP model (meaning it communicates with users via the website). Document verification is carried out solely and exclusively on the website www.sistemantiplagiat.ro.

From the service’s main page, click the “Login” button in the upper-right corner, fill in the login fields (username and password) to access the system, or click the “Register” button to create a new account.

While interpreting a Similarity Report you should keep in mind that:

• The Similarity Report of Sistemantiplagiat.ro is only a tool for detecting similarity between texts and, therefore, it should always be subject to analysis by a competent person. Similarity coefficients cannot be the only factors taken into account when discussing copyright infringement.

• Sistemantiplagiat.ro does not determine which document was created first. In this sense, the Report cannot be the sole factor in deciding which document was original and which was a copy.

• Similarity detection methods allow the system to highlight frequently used expressions. However, the influence of such expressions should not exceed 5-10% of the Similarity Coefficient.

Yes, they are. We follow these rules:

• The document is visible only in the account from which it was uploaded for analysis;

• Each account is protected by a unique password;

• Access to the document may be granted by the user who uploaded it (applies only to subscription accounts);

• Documents uploaded through individual accounts are never accessible to anyone, under any circumstances;

• The personal data of individual users is never accessible to third parties;

• For subscription accounts, access to such data is possible only with the written consent of the university authorities and the account owner. Employees of Sistemantiplagiat.ro have no influence over these decisions.

It is an indicator obtained by dividing the number of words in an analyzed document that were identified in other sources by the total number of words in that document. The Similarity Coefficient represents the percentage of words in the document that were found in other sources compared to the total number of words in the analyzed document.

Similarity Coefficient 2 is a parameter set by Sistemantiplagiat.ro that is displayed in the Similarity Reports as well as in the document table. It is calculated using the same algorithm as the standard Similarity Coefficient 1.

The difference lies in the minimum length of the fragments identified as similar. The value has been predefined at 25. This means that when calculating Similarity Coefficient 2, the system only considers fragments longer than 25 words. This threshold can be adjusted by the system administrators for client accounts.

Tokens are valid for 6 months from the time of purchase. A token can only be used once.

There is no guarantee that all similarities will be detected. The system will compare the document text with the available databases. We can guarantee 100% detection for the databases available to the system; however, for internet resources there is no 100% guarantee that all similarities between existing texts will be detected, mainly due to the dynamic structure of the internet.

For documents checked through an individual account, the system does not ignore quotations or footnotes.

For documents checked through an institutional account, the system highlights quotations enclosed in quotation marks, displays a similarity coefficient, and may ignore the bibliography during analysis.

Through individual accounts, the system compares the analyzed document with internet resources.

Additionally, you can choose one of the six supplementary services:

• RefBooks – created by our company, it contains over 42 million publications and texts from all scientific and cultural fields;

• PRIORITY Check – prioritization significantly reduces the analysis time;

• Legislative Database – contains all Romanian and European legislation, methodological norms, judicial practice, case law, and journals;

• Paraphrasing (SmartMarks) – the system will additionally highlight similar fragments (not only identical ones), where slight modifications were made (word order changes, use of synonyms, etc.) compared to the sources found;

• Translation Similarity Check – automatic translation of the text into another language followed by Analysis of the translation;
