About the System

How does it work?

Sistemantiplagiat.ro is an IT program for comparing text documents. It was created in 2002 by the Polish company Plagiat.pl and in 2012 it was launched in Romania.
Connection to the system is done by accessing www.sistemantiplagiat.ro and data processing takes place on the servers of the service provider. The users of the system upload documents to be verified. Documents are compares with the databases available to the system and a Similarity Report is issued. The Similarity Report indicates the percentage of identified fragments, as well as their exact length and source.

*RefBooks contains over 42 million texts in different languages, taken from databases such as Arvix.org (e-prints in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Quantitative Biology, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Electrical Engineering and Systems Science, and Economics), Paperity.com (over 17,000 open access scientific journals. List of journals: http://paperity.org/journals/1) and Termedia.pl.

Legal Database Coefficient

Quotation Coefficient

shows the percentage of text which is between quotation marks;

Detailed lists

The Similarity Report does not give a verdict regarding the originality of the text, it is an instrument which can be used in order to evaluate the originality and quality of a text.
